Lawn Mowing & Maintenance

Weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and blow-off — same day of the week, around the same time, every week.

What’s Included

Every visit includes mowing at the right height for the season, string trimming around beds, fences, and obstacles, hard-edging along sidewalks and driveways, and a full blow-off of all hard surfaces.

How We Cut, Season by Season

  • Spring & fall — we bag. Clippings, leaves, and debris are collected so they don’t mat down, smother the turf, or invite disease while the lawn is waking up or getting ready for winter.
  • Summer — we mulch. Our mowers run mulching kits that chop clippings into fine pieces. They fall back into the turf and break down fast, putting extra nitrogen back into your lawn — free fertilizer every cut.
  • We rotate our line every time. Each cut, we change the mowing direction by 30 to 90 degrees. That keeps grass standing upright, prevents ruts and wheel tracks, and gives you a cleaner, more even cut.

A Schedule You Can Count On

  • Same day, same time. We come on the same day of the week and around the same time, so you always know when to expect us.
  • Rain plan. If it rains on your day, we come back the next day — we don’t skip you or wait a week.
  • Free walkthrough: We measure your property and quote a flat per-visit price — no surprises.

Mowing in Toledo’s clay and shade

Most Toledo-area lawns grow on heavy lake-plain clay that compacts easily and stays wet after a storm. That’s why rotating our mowing direction matters so much here, and why we come back the next day when it rains instead of rutting a soft lawn. In shaded neighborhoods like West Toledo, Ottawa Hills, and Old Orchard, we raise the deck so grass under mature trees can hold onto every bit of light. In sunnier subdivisions in Perrysburg and Holland, we raise it again in July and August to help the lawn ride out the heat.

Pricing

Mowing is priced per cut by lawn size:

  • About 6,500 sq ft: $40–$50 per cut
  • About 10,000 sq ft: around $75 per cut

Frequently asked questions

How much does weekly mowing cost in Toledo?
A typical 6,500 sq ft lawn runs about $40–$50 per cut, and about 10,000 sq ft is around $75. Use our Lawn Check tool to measure your yard and see an estimate, then text John to confirm.
Why do you bag in spring and fall but not summer?
In spring and fall, clippings mix with leaves and debris and can mat down on wet ground. In summer, our mulching kits cut clippings fine enough to disappear into the turf and return nitrogen to the soil.
What happens if it rains on my mowing day?
We come back the next day. We'd rather move your cut one day than leave ruts in a soaked lawn.
Is lawn mowing & maintenance guaranteed?
Yes. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. If something isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and make it right.
